MEETING THE “INFORMANT”

“Are you sure we are to meet this guy here, Geoff?” asked an anxious Mandarin Morgan.
G.I. Geoff gave a quick nod and located the building where the meeting was to take place, “Over there!”
It was a sketchy and questionable neighborhood. Mandarin Morgan, like any good soldier, scanned their surrounding area with a keen eye. “You better keep your guard up. I don’t trust this place for some reason.” said a concerned Morgan.
In a consoling tone, Geoff silently agreed with what Morgan said as he too was scanning their surroundings, “As soon as we meet this guy, the sooner we are out of here!”

A tall lanky man walked towards Geoff and Morgan. He was missing some teeth as he slightly smiled recognizing Geoff. The odd man wore clothes that obviously had not been washed in days.
“You must be Geoff!” he muttered softly
Geoff nodded, “I am. What do you have for me?”
“You know what I require before I go any further!” The informant held out his right hand waiting for cash to exchange between the two.
